19th-century drum painted with Texas star and Texas volunteers from the collection of Jack Dutton noted Texas collector to the collection of William A. Gary. The drum heads are broken and the condition is somewhat rough showing repairs and a great deal of use. The drum measures approximately in height by 17 inches across the head. Bill Gary collection inventory card lists the drum as Confederate but it may have been post-civil war and used for reunions. Thecollection of William A. Gary consigned from his estate.
