19th century Whiskey salesman’s case, containing 7 large blown-glass and etched quart sized bottles and five small bottles, one missing. With one blown tasting glass. The exterior of the box is oak with forged iron mounts and lock. The box measures approx. 11” in height by 17-1/2” in width. We would date the box between 1830’s to 60’s and is the type a whiskey salesman or drummer would travel from bar to bar and sell various distillery’s products. The reason for two glasses was to sample with the owner. Est: $400 - $800
