19th Century print depicting Wellington and Blucher meeting after the battle of Waterloo, from the original wall painting in the palace of Westminster. The steel engraving is signed by Lum Stocks RA. The originalpainting by Daniel Maclise RA. Published by the Art Union of London, 1875. In lower left marked “Printed by McQueen”. The print measures approx. 21” by 50”, is in an old 19th century frame with gold leaf liner. Theframe shows some damage as does the liner. The print shows some fading and staining and is good for its age with artwork well defined and still vivid. The scene depicts Napoleonic troops in full battle dress. Est:$375 - $750
