The lot features a wonderful 19th Century trade knife and leather tacked sheath attributed to the Southern Plains Comanche Indians of Northern Texas. The sheath is comprised of brown harness saddle trade leather showing a cut belt slide and fancy cut outer edge. The sheath also shows a tacked design. The old trade knife has artfully done silver pewter poured inlays on the handle including classic bands and an “H” design. From a Missouri collection. Measures 13 ½ inches in length by 4 inches wide.
