Probably from Thailand or Japan, normally called Wedding Chests, mostly Pine with old Mahogany stain, ancient looking hardware that is original, likely to be from last half of the 19th Century. Purchased in the Orient while on Diplomatic Duty and brought back to the US. 16 1/2" deep by 44" long by 37" tall.

Fourth: Shipping. We will try and work with you on shipping. On small objects, we can pack them here with bubble wrap and UPS ship to you. Be forewarned, UPS charges extra to deliver to residences , and now with fuel charges up, surcharges are in effect. If is not possible to quote an exact rate until the item or items are boxed and weighed, or dimensional weight is determined.
