For your consideration is this 1985 embossed paper art piece called "Angelina," by R.C. Gorman (1931-2005). This is a great embossed paper art piece that is pencil signed in bottom left hand corner and numbered VI/XV in the bottom right hand corner. The piece is shown behind heavy museum grade plexiglass. Rudolph Carl Gorman was a Native American artist of the Navajo Nation. Referred to as "the Picasso of American Indian artists," his paintings are primarily of Native American women and characterized by fluid forms and vibrant colors, though he also worked in sculpture, ceramics, and stone lithography. The condition of this embossed paper artwork is great museum quality behind a great plastic display case with no signs of damage and great preservation to the piece. The measurements of this framed art piece is 26 3/4" x 22 3/4" x 2 1/2" and the visible art measures 19 3/4" x 16".
