Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade integral to a base that is forged to the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch in the topstrap.

Grip Configuration & Condition: The grip is a checkerd black rubber Pachmayr grip with finger grooves. There is some scattered light handling wear. The checkering is strong. The grips rate in about Fine overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is are a few freckles of faint erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion and for the age, the bore rates a 9 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 92% of its metal finish. There are some spots of light surface frost and finish loss on the edges and some scattered areas of thinning. There are a few nicks and dings in the metal and a couple of hairline scratches. There is a turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are tool marked. The middle sideplate screw is a replacement. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
