For your consideration is this wonderfully preserved "The Life And Times Of Grizzly Adams" domed tin-litho lunch box. The lunch box was manufactured by Aladdin Industries in Nashville, TN, It has a copyright date of 1977. Aladdin Industries was originally founded in Chicago in 1908 as Mantle Lamp Company. Aladdin was created as a subsidiary in 1914 manufacturing vacuum bottles. In 1950, Aladdin created the first character lunchbox, using images of Hopalong Cassidy. For 30 years Aladdin dominated the metal lunch box market by using character licensed theme products. This lunchbox and accompanying Thermo Bottle are in excellent condition, retaining their beautiful original graphics. The Thermo bottle is missing the inside lid, but does have the mug. The lunchbox measures 6.5" x 9" x 4". The Thermo bottle with mug measures 6.5" tall and is 3.5" in diameter.
