1970 DODGE CHARGER HEMI
If you want attention, this car is for you. This Charger is finished in its original FV2 Hemi orange color with paint and body done to a very high level. Underneath, it is obvious it was originally a southern USA car when you notice how clean the floors and frame are. Under the hood is where things get more interesting. The factory original big block was swapped out for a Mopar crate 5.7L Hemi engine matched to a 45RFE 5-Speed automatic transmission. Fuel injection helps the drivability and gets the power down to the road much better. All of what you’d expect in a high dollar resto mod with aluminum rad, factory looking wiring harnesses, and working R134 air conditioning retrofitted to the factory A/C system. The drivetrain transformation was done extremely well-looking, as though it left the factory with the car. The 834inch lift rear end out back handles the combination very well. Handling and stopping were also addressed in the build. This car corners and stops very much like a new charger with 4-wheel discs on the corners and modified rear suspension. This car is well sorted out- it drives great and runs strong. Inside the car retains much of the stock look of a 1970 charger. Some better functioning gauges were added with the correct placement in the dash. Also, a Retrosound bluetooth radio was added in place of the original. The interior was redone in the iconic Saddle Tan color with factory buckets and console. The chrome, emblems, wheels, and general overall attention to detail on this build set off the look of this charger. The overall attention to detail makes it a showstopper.
