This ball was used in Game 5 of the 1964 World Series in New York. Bob Gibson started his second game of the series for the St. Louis Cardinals against the New York Yankees. Tim McCarver delivered a three run home run in the tenth inning, after the Yankees had scored two in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game, to send the Cardinals back to St. Louis with a 3-2 lead in the series. The ball detailing all the significant facts and box score is marked in black, blue and red marker. Ball shows game-use and was originally sourced directly from Bob Gibson.
