1962 007 Sean Connery Dr. No Bow Tie Autographed Movie Prop (Photo Match) (JSA)
Bowtie worn by Sean Connery in the very first James Bond film "Dr. No" in 1962. It is a black Wembley tie, as marked twice on the back, with a very distinct pointed end design. It is believed that there were five bowties used on the set, this one being the first worn by Connery on the second day of shooting and can be seen in the Casino scene in which Connery gives audiences his name for the first time ever, "...Bond, James Bond." The tie is seen again in M's office and in a hotel room scene with a girl. The tie was given to a gaffer by the costume designer, who had the tie signed in silver ink by Connery ostensibly some years later. A real piece of film history, tie is EXMT-NRMT with signature that grades a 7 to 8. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and additional LOAs. Also included is a photo of Connery wearing the bow tie.
