1939 Rainier Special Export Cone Top Beer Can
For your consideration is this 1939 Rainier Special Export cone top can from the Rainier Brewing Company when they were based in San Francisco, California. The company brewed beer in San Francisco from 1935 to around 1944 before moving back to the Seattle area. The can shows an egg shell white background with "Rainier" in red lettering and "Special Export" below that in black lettering. "Beer" is at the bottom of the can in red lettering. On the bottom of the can in small black lettering it reads, "Rainier Brewing Company, San Francisco, California". On the very bottom of the can in black lettering it reads, "6-3-39" showing that it was brewed prior to the date on the bottom of the can. The can shows a cone neck style and features the original cap, a rare thing in these old cans. The can measures 2 5/8" in diameter and 5 3/8" in height.
