Original 34" tall slat back wooden seat from Engle Stadium, home of the Negro League Chattanooga Lookouts and Nashville Elite Giants, dating from 1930 when the stadium was built. Removed during renovations in 1989, fresh coat of green paint, this seat witnessed Satchel Paige's first Major League game and an exhibition game in 1931 where Jackie Mitchell struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, leading Judge Landis to ban women from professional baseball.
