Offered in this lot we have a Keystone Ride 'Em steam roller steel toy originating from the late 1920's. The roller shows pressed steel construction and was made by Keystone Toy Company. Keystone is known for its highly collectable line of pressed steel toys. This piece shows a steam roller design with the roof functioning as a seat with a steering bar in the front. The piece shows a intact decal reading "Keystone Ride 'Em Reg. U.S. Pat. Off Steam Roller Oil Axles Frequently Keystone MFG. Co. Boston, Mass., U.S.A." set on the right side of the toy. The steam roller is painted in colors of dark grey and red. The piece shows good condition overall with some wear and rusting indicative of age. The roller measures 20" long by 8 1/4" wide and 14" tall.
