You are bidding on an early 1920's Limoges handpainted plate signed by the famous factory artist J. Mongar.
This plate was produced in the decorating studios of Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, & Lehman of Limoges, France.
Backstamped with the Green type L30 hallmark, we date this plate to the early 1920's.
The plate is 9 1/4 inches in diameter and is signed on the obverse by the artist J. Mongar. The plate is handpainted but the romantic scene in the center is transfer.
