This is a water jug from the Glenesslin Shipwreck off the coast of Oregon in 1913. It is believed by many that the ship was intentionally wrecked into the side of Mt. Neahkahnie. The age of steam power was gaining traction and the full sized windjammer was obsolete and had been losing money for years. The stoneware water jug was later recovered during a salvage operation. One side of the jug is marked with its history. The jug shows good condition. It measures 11.5" in diameter and is 17.25" tall.
