1913 Brendamour Baseball Trophy Cup
Rare 10" tall trophy cup, 3-handled, engraved "Brendamour Sunday Base Ball Circuit, Champions 1913, Norwood Base Ball Team" with several names beneath. The Norwood team was located in Brendamour, a warehousing district in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the opposite side, hand painted and faded, is "First Prize, Dedden's Museum Band, Eagle's Convention, Cincinnati, OH" and "1834" or "1934" (second digit is faded). This would tend to indicate that the trophy was perhaps re-used at some point. The underside is stamped "Warranted Quadruple Plate," possibly "Homan Mfg. Company," "3079" and "Special Metal" with hallmarks. Ornate and heavily tarnished, a beautiful vintage example.
