Another top tier HOFer from the early days of baseball, Lajoie was a hitter who terrified pitchers and fielders of the time. If Exit Velocity was in vogue in those days (and if the technology existed to measure it) there is no doubt "Nap" would have been confirmed as the hardest hitter of the era. The Big Frenchman won 5 American League batting titles, including the epic 1901 season where he smashed out a .426 batting average, with 232 hits, 48 doubles and 125 RBI. He ended up with 3,243 hits and a lifetime .338 average over 21 seasons. One of the hobby's big name pre-WW I cards, this is his "throwing" variation, with a Sweet Caporal 150 back, graded 2 GD by PSA.
