DWM produced approximately 5,000 of these pistols for military sales to Brazil. Most examples exhibit heavy use and wear due to the high humidity in South America. These pistols were serial numbered approximately 1 to 5000. These pistols were all produced on the old 1906 style frame with the grip safety, polished lower safety area and no stock lug. They have a blank chamber area with the "DWM" logo on the rear toggle and the only proofmarks on the entire pistol is a small circled "B" proof on the left side of the barrel extension. The extractor is correctly marked "CARREGADA" and the matching serial number is marked on the front of the frame and bottom of the barrel. Unmarked nickel magazine with un-numbered wooden bottom and fitted with replacement checkered walnut grips.
BBL: 4 3/4 inch round

Gauge: 7.65 mm
Finish: blue

Condition: Refurbished with 75% blue finish remaining showing some muzzle and high edge wear, thinning and wear on the grip straps and grip safety, and areas of minor pitting under the finish on the barrel and toggle. There is some pitting on the grip safety and some scattered minor dings and scratches. Most of the refurbished straw color remains on the small parts. The oversized replacement grips are very good with a few minor nicks in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
