This is a framed Frederic Remington chromolithograph titled "The Cossack Post (Cavalryman)" published in 1902 by Charles Scribner's Sons. The piece shows the cavalryman on horseback in a wintry scene. The lower left corner is marked "Copyright 1902 Charles Scribner's Sons N.Y." and the right side is marked "The Cossack Post (Cavalryman)". Frederic Remington is one of the greatest Western artists in history whose original works have commanded in excess of $500,000 in sale prices. This chromolithograph was made during Remington;s lifetime and is in good condition. The frame measures 12.5" x 18.25".
