Russian Mosin-Nagant Model 91 bolt action rifle with Westinghouse marked hexagon receiver, 7.62 x 54R caliber, Serial #848769. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 31 ½” barrel with a blade front and military tangent style rear sights. The metal parts retain the majority of their military finish with losses at the muzzle and high point edge wear on the receiver. The front ring is marked Westinghouse and dated 1915. Additionally, the receiver is marked with an, “SA” in a circle indicating the rifle was captured by the Finnish army and put back into service. The smooth wood stock is in good condition showing moderate to heavy use with dents, mars and compressions. The butt ends with smooth, steel butt plate. The rifle retains the sling swivels, cleaning rod and includes a period leather, military style sling. The bore is good, the markings are sharp and the action is crisp on this World War I era Mosin-Nagant by Westinghouse. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).
