For your consideration is this Chromolithograph titled "The Poker Game at Hop Lee's by Charles Marion Russell and is the first from a set of two chromolithographs issued as advertising by a Chicago company in the 1890's. Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The image show three gentleman a cowboy, a China man, and a Native American man sitting on a blanket playing a game of poker. The condition of this chromolithograph is good and shows no obvious signs of damage to the artwork or the stained softwood frame. The measurements of this 18 1/2" x 25 1/2" and the visible art measures 15 1/2" x 22 1/2".
