1876 Winchester Second Model saddle ring carbine, .45-60 cal., 22" round barrel, traces of original blue finish, folk art carved stock, serial #28227. The right side of the action is professionally engravedduring period of use in fancy letters that appear to be "R G". The right side of the stock shows carving of stag and doe in forest, the left side of the butt stock shows a jumping stag. The metal surfaces show20-40% blue drifting to a light brown. The barrel address and markings are good, the loading gate shows most of its original blue; the action is good, the bore is good and generally good to very good overall. Est.: $2,000-$4,000

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
