For your consideration is this 1860's Penn. Goose Neck Dovetail Copper Kettle. This kettle shows a colonial style copper crafted pot that swivels with an arching handle. The lid is crafted in a traditional fashion as is the way with the copper kettles of the 1860's. The Pennsylvania goose neck is a style of spout that ends in an open mouth and set along the vertical dovetail joint on the body. The dovetail joint on the body than intersects with a circular dovetail joint on the bottom of the kettle. There are a number of dents to the body of this kettle however this shows the age of the piece. This copper kettle is marked however the mark is unidentifiable. The measurements of this kettle is 11" x 11" x 8".
