1860 Henry rifle, .44 caliber rimfire in very good untouched original condition retaining considerable blue, serial #8714. The rifle shows approx. 20-40% original blue evenly drifting and toning with some very bright blue still showing in the groove. Some scattered light to moderate light erosion and pinprick pitting, absolutely no cleaning and razor sharp barrel address. The frame is sharp, the sideplates are tight and show a medium patina. The stock is very good plus showing Henry bump beneath swivel, a few scratches, minor handling marks, but generally very good plus to near fine overall. The hammer and lever show a darkened patina with traces of case colors mixed in, original small parts and sight. Action good, bore very good. The stock fits the metal flawlessly, and the buttplate matches. Internal screws not examined. An exceptionally honest and untouched Henry rifle with exceptional wood and considerable blue. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
