1853 Enfield, .58 caliber rifled musket by lock marked “Barnett”. Tower markings, good to very good original condition. Stock shows “DS” and “JW” markings. Barrel shows “SUH” and “JW” markings. The barrel shows a brownpatina finish with light erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The lock shows traces of case hardening, stocks are good to very good with some small dings, scratches, mars, etc. The brass triggerguard and buttplateshow a dark patina. The lock markings are sharp. An original ramrod is included. There are some small nicks missing from the edge of the ramrod channel. The bore is good, generally good overall.
