10-Day Baja Sur, Mexico Mule Deer Hunt 2014 or 2015
Great hunts and firearms!
Donor: Armando Naranjo Rivera
Outfitters: Uma Bonfil at the Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve

A uniquely North American experience hunting mule deer the Old Mexico way – by base and spike camps, traveling by mule, spotting and stalking. There is no better way to pursue this great animal than striking out on mule and on foot across some of the most unforgiving, yet beautiful backcountry on the continent. Ranch hunts are nice, but this is Mexico as it was and at its best. These Baja mulies are smaller than the Sonoran mule deer due to the dry conditions of their habitat.

Fair Market Value: $7,000
Permit Requirements: Mexican firearms permit. Donor will help with the permit.
Accommodations: Base camp lodge and spike camp tents. Travel by mule. Bring your sleeping bag, rifle, binoculars, rain gear and sturdy boots and clothing for rough terrain and many cacti.

Travel Details: Fly into Loreto, Baja Sur, Mexico. Transportation provided to and from airport.

Hunt Dates: December 15, 2013 – February 28, 2014 or December 15, 2014 – February 28, 2015

Upgrade Options: You may bring a non-hunting companion at no charge
