HISTORY OF THE CHYRSLER ROYAL WINDSOR: The Chrysler Royal was produced by the Chrysler Division of the Chrysler Corporation from 1937 to 1942 and 1926 to 1950. The Royal represented the base trim Chrysler during its production, making it the most affordable Chrysler model. Chrysler had redesigned all its car lines for 1939. Lower and more rounded in appearance than the ’38s. the new cars featured split windshields and headlights flared into the fenders. The Royal was equipped with Inline 6 cylinder engine that developed 95 horsepower. 3-speed manual transmission. Highly original interior. An extremely well preserved Chrysler.
