Rod Robertson Enterprises, Inc. (RRE) is a business incorporated in the State of Texas in 1963. We originally started as a Cessna and Piper aircraft dealership in Del Rio and San Antonio, Texas. RRE first started in Government Contracting with the U.S. Air Force, providing pilots and mechanics in support of T-41 pilot training.

In 1978 RRE contracted with the Department of Agriculture to provide aircraft and pilots for screw worms abatement. This effort consisted of over 100 aircraft, supported by pilots and mechanics, and covered the area encompassing the southwest United States southward to Honduras. RRE also operated a fleet of 15 tractor-trailers supporting the program.

In 1985 RRE began towing, storage and auctioneering services for the United States Marshals Service in Del Rio, Texas. RRE has worked with other U.S. Government agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Pima County Arizona Fleet Services.

RRE has the management experience, financial means, proven operating procedures, quality control practices, operational equipment, and staffing to support and ensure a smooth operation for our clients.

In 2006, RRE was awarded the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Small Business Achievement Award.

Rod Robertson Auto Auction, LLC (RRAA) was established in 2010 as a commercial venture. RRAA is a certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the South Central Texas, SCTRCA.

Using the extensive knowledge gained with Rod Robertson Enterprises, Inc., RRAA is our commercial service entity to expand and increase the services we offer to our clients. Such services are private commercial asset management, storage and sales of obsolete and surplus equipment, auction services, automobile titling and financial lending services.

Safari Club International is the leader in protecting the freedom to hunt and in promoting wildlife conservation worldwide. SCI provides value to members by shaping policies and legislation that protect the freedom to hunt locally, nationally and internationally. In concert with the national SCI organization, the Chesapeake Chapter of SCI, comprised of members near Annapolis, MD, provides a community for hunters worldwide where camaraderie is enjoyed and expert information is exchanged, and where members are able to participate in a market for quality hunting goods and services. Jointly we promote a positive image of hunters, portraying them as responsible citizens who fund wildlife conservation, education and other humanitarian programs.

Our Cause

Please help protect our right to hunt, help to provide assistance to handicapped hunters, help great organizations such as the Salvation Army and the Montana Rescue Mission with their humanitarian aid efforts and help to educate our youth on the benefits of conservation. Causes such as these need great attention and donations from people like you make the difference.

Phoenix Chapter of Safari Club International. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, has been in existence for 31 years.

Protecting hunters’ rights and promoting wildlife conservation, SCI’s two areas of focus, historically has been the interest of hundreds of individuals long before SCI was established. But how did SCI as an organization begin?

Forty years ago, there were many safari clubs across the country made up of local, unaffiliated groups of hunters. One such was Safari Club of Los Angeles, which was formed in April 1971 by forty-seven individuals. In early 1972, an out-of-towner from a similar club in Chicago attended one of the monthly Wednesday night meetings, and it was decided that the L.A. club should attempt to combine with the one in Chicago to make it an affiliated chapter. The founder of Safari Club of Los Angeles, C.J. McElroy, went to the Windy City and instituted the new chapter.

Eleven months after the formation of Safari Club of Los Angeles, on March 9, 1972, the name was changed officially to Safari Club International. SCI continued to reach out to other independent safari clubs throughout the United States in an effort to combine them into a single overall organization.

Today, interest in SCI’s two primary missions has grown a worldwide network. Subsequent involvement and promotion of these missions is rooted in each of our 55,000 members, supported through each of our 190 membership chapters found across the globe, and put into action by government representatives and personnel both nationally and internationally.

In this way, we can encourage an appreciation for nature and wildlife so that conservation efforts remain strong, while also fighting to protect our rich hunting heritage. Big changes can be achieved through the endeavors of many who are united in a mission – the mission of Safari Club International.
