Proceeding Safely
Due to the recent EHV-1 issues, Billings Livestock has added additional protocol and requirements to our online only sale events.
The Billings Livestock Timed Online Only Sales are conducted strictly online with horses that have remained at the consignor’s residences.
Our consignors have signed a statement indicating that the horses have not left their premises for the past 21 days, nor have they had any new horses arrive at their premise.
Prior to shipping, every horse will have a health certificate (CVI) written within 72 hours of pickup – including in-state horses - with a copy supplied to Billings Livestock before horse is released.
In addition, this particular sale closing has been extended a full week with holding times also extended.

Our TIMED ONLINE ONLY SALE Procedure is as follows:
Bidding opens on all horses at 12 Noon Dec 10
Bidding will continue up to 6 p.m. Thurs Dec 18 at which time Hip 1 will close.
At 6:03 p.m. Hip 2 will close. At 6:06 p.m. Hip 3 will close. Every 3 minutes the following horse will be closed to bidding. If during the last seconds a horse is bid is placed
Bidding will open at 12:00 PM Wed Dec 10, 2025 (UTC-07:00 : PDT/MST)
