(United Artists, 1940) A program from the premiere of Charlie Chaplin's satirical comedy "The Great Dictator." This program belonged to effects artist Ralph Hammeras, who worked on the film, with his name circled in red on the interior. Adhered to the program is a Los Angeles Evening Herald review of the film, also with Hammeras' name circled, plus additional unrelated ephemera adhered to the reverse of the scrapbook page. Measuring 10" x 12" adhered to 11.25" x 15.5" scrapbook paper, the program displays in good condition with creases, tape repair, heavy discoloration from age, and wear.
