Winchester model 70 pre-64 in 7mm caliber, serial #8279. Standard grade. The rifle remains in fair condition showing 30-50% original blue and some cold blue added. The stocks are good, the stock has been drilledand tapped for three sling swivels, two of which are missing. The barrel shows a non-factory folding rear sight in original rear dovetail and a replacement front sight in the front dovetail. The rear of the action shows two tap holes for receiver sight. The rifle is mounted with a Leopold 6-power scope on Redfield mounts. The action is good, the bore is good. A scarce caliber, but not collector’s grade. Safety lever has beenaltered.
