Springfield Model 1863 .58 cal. rifled musket, in good original condition showing a smooth patina finish with some blue and case hardening still showing. Good eagle stamps on lockplate and bolster, 1863 date on rearof lock and breech; stocks good to very good with 2 inspectors cartouches, showing some scratches, dings, mars, small losses at the edges, 1 large chip right in front of lockplate. The right butt stock shows astamped eagle in shield with Whitney Arms Co. below it. The bore is good with strong rifling and may clean to excellent. Cleaning rod included. Est.: $600-$1,200

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
