Scottish style percussion pistol, lock signed Mortimer. All metal, finely engraved, silver plated, with ram's horn shaped butt. The pistol measures 11-1/2" overall with 7" three-stage canon barrel with typical buttand trigger and belt hook. The entire pistol shows a plated finish that has turned blackish blue and is completely uncleaned. The metal stock is silver inlaid with Egyptian figures on each side. The lock isnicely engraved with Scottish thistles. The pistol is fine quality overall and is in very good to near fine condition and would clean beautifully. The knob for the screw and pick mounted in the butt is missing, but easilyreplaced. An original silver plated ramrod is included. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
