Silent Mountain Outfitters’ hunting territory is in the heart of the Purcell Mountain Range southwest of Golden BC. Bugaboo Provincial Park borders on the south, and Glacier National Park borders on the north. From the rolling valleys to the rugged mountains, the scenery in this area is spectacular.
Dan Streichert and/or Tom Kotlarz will be your host for this 1:1, 7-day spot-and-stalk black bear hunt. You will be staying in the either the main lodge with hot showers, the remote northfork cabin or wall tents during your hunt. You will make use of 4x4’s, ATV’s and your hunting boots to find your bear. All meals, accommodations and transportation from Cranbrook are included. You can upgrade this trip to include a second black bear for $500 US. Licences, tags, royalties and HPF are not included.

Successful bidders will be charged the total amount of their successful bid upon the close of the auction unless other arrangements are made. Contact the office at 604 541 6332 for further information.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
