The Cascade Mountains of British Columbia will be the setting for this 5-day, 1:1 guided spot and stalk black bear hunt. You may schedule dates with guide outfitter, Darrel Schneider, between May 1 and June 15, 2014.
Darrel has lived and hunted in his area his whole life. He has been guiding since 1983. If you are looking for a color phase bear, this is the area for you: it offers a variety of phase bears including chocolate, blonde, cinnamon and everything in between. Average size is 6 feet with some going over 7 feet.
Your accommodations will be in the guest lodge. The lodge overlooks the incredible Similkameen valley, where you will be able to spot wildlife for miles. Bring along another hunter for market price or an observer for $300 US per day. Meals and transportation from the Penticton Airport are included. Licences, tags, HPF and taxes are not included.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
