Condition: Excellent. The barrels retain 98% original blue finish with some minor thinning on the breech and muzzle ends. The action retains 80% original faded case colors with the balance a smooth silver-gray patina with some minor pitting on the fences. There is a plug through the tip of the stock flats to prevent cracking and there are a few small minor cracks behind the locks. Otherwise the wood is excellent with mild handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with minor handling, scuff marks, some heavy wear, and some missing stitching, with the carrying strap absent.
