Pair of English Flintlock pistols in their original case by Gill & Parker showing brass barrels and mounts in original near fine condition circa about 1790-1810. The pair measures 13-1/2” overall with 7-3/4” barrelsof approx 60 caliber smooth bore. The pair are full stocked to the muzzles in good quality walnut showing a nice grain. The locks show considerable original case hardening at least 50% which is toning to apleasing patina with some minor beginning age. The locks retain their original small parts with no replacements. The mounts are sharp and crisp with well defined proofs and London marking on barrels. The stocks arevery good plus to near fine with a few dings, mars, scratches and one minor stress crack by the front of the lock on one pistol. The pair are contained within in a green wooly felt lined partition style case which is innear fine condition also showing just slight wear and normal aging with some impressions and marks at contact areas. The case contains 2 screw drivers, combination rod, proper size mold with most of its case
