Mid 19th century percussion powder-tester with large “V” spring mechanism. Wooden pistol type grip, hand-engraved graduations. Good condition with some light pitting and erosion. Some minor dings and mars to stock.Body shows a small proof on left side which appears to be a “L” with crown. Bottom spring shows an “M” and “O” stamp. From the Keith Coulter collection.
