Introduced in the 1980s as an upgraded model of the HK21, intended for foreign sales. One of the key differences is the 4-position selector group; traditionally "SAFE", "SINGLE" and "FULL", the E model includes a "3-round" burst function. Additionally, the arm is equipped with a Fleming Firearms Class III Auto Sear, serial numbered "H1934" and BATFE registered for 9mm, 223 and 308 calibers. Hooded post front and adjustable drum rear sights, with scope mounting blocks atop the receiver, folding carry handle, and a forward assist on the right side. Vented forearm, with rail mounts for a folding bipod (included), and open on the right side to accommodate the fluted quick-release barrel with birdcage flash hider. Equipped to feed from a belt. Textured pistol grip and buttstock, with a club foot handrest and a ribbed rubber recoil pad. NOTE: This is a fully transferable NFA Class III Firearm currently on a Form 4.
