Terms and Conditions

(Please read carefully as registering to bid in our auction declares acceptance of our terms and conditions)

Buyers must satisfy themselves as to the conditions, identifications and any authenticity prior to placing any bids on an item(s). Buyers shall not make objections after the sale. Hein Ventures and/or the owner of the goods will try to list items as accurately as possible, and are NOT responsible for errors in descriptions or conditions. You agree not to hold Hein Ventures and its employees responsible for any errors or omissions regarding the lot(s) being sold. 

All purchases are AS IS, WHERE IS. No warranties or guarantees are applicable to any purchases. Hein Ventures does not accept returns or refunds. 

Bidding premiums (BP) are applied to each lot purchased on the online auction. Items sold on I-Collector and Live Auction World are subject to a 18% BP. Federal GST and corresponding Provincial Sales Tax will apply to all purchases where applicable. When registering for our online auctions you are making firm commitments to purchase the item(s) you bid on and are entering into a legal and binding contract.

You have the right and responsibility to inspect the item(s) yourself or to have a third-party representative inspect the item(s) for you. Hein Ventures will do its best to accommodate inspections of items. By bidding on an item you have agreed to accept that item in it’s present condition whether descriptions are accurate or not.

By registering to bid you acknowledge that the Internet may be an unreliable and error prone network, and Hein Ventures will not guarantee that bids placed online will always be transmitted on time. We have no desire to miss your bid. In case of a bidding dispute the decision by Hein Ventures and its employees will be final. You acknowledge that our online auction service is conducted using hardware and software that may malfunction, and Hein Ventures does not guarantee uninterrupted service. 

By Bidding, you agree that all sales are final. Upon Purchasing an item, that item immediately becomes your responsibility (whether you have paid for that item or not). You agree that Hein Ventures and its employees are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items once they have left our care. Hein Ventures will not reimburse or discount items for any type of loss. All items are left at your own risk and responsibility. In the event of shipping, Hein Ventures Inc will make every effort to ensure that your item is handled and shipped with care. However, once shipped we will not be held responsible for damages or loss during the shipping process. Please see our shipping page for more information on shipping costs and process. Any purchased item that is left unclaimed 10 days from and inclusive of the sale date, is subject to a $5/day storage fee + a restocking/listing fee of 30% of sale price, up to the sell price of the item. If the storage and restocking fees become equal to or greater than the sold price of the item, the item will be assumed to be forfeit and will be resold as the property of Hein Ventures Inc. It is up to the purchaser to make arrangements for pick up or delivery of their items. Hein Ventures Inc. will not send reminders or make repeated attempts to contact you.

Payment Methods – Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard), E-transfers, Cash, Certified Cheques 

Items will not be released/ retrieved until full payment is received. No exceptions.  

Buyers Premiums & Fees:

All online auction purchases are subject to a 18% buyers premium + 5% GST

Hein Ventures Inc. accepts the following methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, email transfer.

Any purchased item that is left unclaimed 10 days from and inclusive of the sale date, is subject to a $5/day storage fee and a restocking/listing fee of %30 of sale price up to the sell price of the item. If the storage and restocking fees become equal to or greater than the sold price of the item, the item will be assumed to be forfeit and will be resold as the property of Hein Ventures Inc.
