The finest known second model LeMat revolver S/N 1432 from the iconic Cliff Young collection. The barrel is marked “Col. LeMat Ste S.G.D.G. Paris”. All features as standard and in its original to the period casingwith accessories which include rare LeMat brass mold with iron sprue cutter, maple ramrod, three very rare original paper cartridges for smoothbore, Dixon pistol flask in almost mint condition, Eley cap box, andLeMat lead bullets. The condition is superb with almost all the original bright blue finish and straw colored small parts. Pristine in every way with a minimal amount of natural aging and the case is also nearoriginal mint. Illustrated in the “Confederate LeMat” by Doug Adams. The best LeMat Cliff young could obtain in over 60 years of sophisticated and well-funded collecting.
