FROM THE 1841-1941 CENTENNIALJEWELRY TERMS & CONDITIONS

All jewelry, as with all items in this auction, is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no returns, no refusals, no arbitration, no bid cancellations, and no other recourse.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to read each individual item description carefully prior to placing a bid.

The terms “Gold” and “Silver” may refer to color only. Items will be considered actual gold or silver only if explicitly stated in the description as:

Gold (10k, 12k, 14k, etc.), or
Sterling Silver or Silver Plate
All jewelry described as gold is being sold as gold only, based on our internal testing. However, we are not certified jewelry appraisers.

All gold items were tested in-house using a Professional RS Mizar M1849 Gold Tester. Each item was tested multiple times. In some cases, test readings fluctuate. Therefore, the gold content listed reflects the most consistent reading obtained, but no guarantee is made as to exact gold content or purity.

Some items may have been tested by a third-party jewelry store, which will be noted in the item description. No warranties or guarantees apply, regardless of testing source.

Please note:

Some older or antique jewelry may not be stamped.
A 150-lift commercial magnet was used to assist in testing metals.
Diamonds and gemstones were tested in-house using a diamond tester.
All items are sold based on our testing results only, and no guarantees, certifications, or valuations—expressed or implied—are provided.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the scheduled inspection day and conduct their own evaluation and testing prior to bidding.

All jewelry is subject to the general auction terms and conditions listed in Lot #1TL. By placing a bid, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all auction terms and conditions.

Loomis Auctioneers makes no guarantees or warranties of any kind, including but not limited to authenticity, metal content, gemstone quality, or value.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no returns, refunds, or cancellations of bids once placed.
