Non-Restricted rifle Lee Metford model II* (Sparkbrook), .303 British ten shot bolt action, w/ bbl length 30" [Blued finish. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights plus Volley front and rear sights. Full wood military stock with brass butt plate. Includes one detachable magazine. Matching serial number on receiver and barrel. Serial no. "49592" on bolt. Other markings include "VR" crown, "SPARKBROOK 1895, II**" on right band. Maker's roundel on right side of stock, "158" on butt plate, naval "N" on left side of band plus assorted proof and inspection marks. Fitted with magazine cut off, action and trigger appear to function reasonably well. Left side of receiver has had four drilled and tapped screws, now ground flush, likely for once attached optic. Bluing worn in use and handling areas. Some deeper nicks and gouges in wood and other use, handling and storage marks.] serial # 49682, PAL required
