Non-Restricted rifle Lee Enfield model L.E.C. I* RIC Carbine, .303 British five shot bolt action, w/ bbl length 21" [Blued finish with fixed front and adjustable rear sights. Wooden stock with brass butt plate. Includes five shot magazine. Fitted with bayonet lug and magazine cut off. Matching serial number on receiver, barrel and bolt. Other markings include "VR" crown, "ENFIELD 1900 L.E.C.1900 1*", Enfield roundel and brass button stamped R.I.C 6317" on right side of stock, plus assorted proof and inspection marks. Calvary carbine reworked to accommodate an 1888 bayonet lug for the Royal Irish Constabulary etc. Mechanically appears to function well. Age appropriate nicks and dings. Overall in better than average condition.] serial # 4280, PAL required
