This is an original and scarce 4x7 postcard, printed before the concert, advertising the November 21-24 1968 shows at the Grande Ballroom, in Detroit, Michigan, featuring the Jefferson Airplane, Blue Cheer, Tim Buckley, Terry Reid, The Stooges (w/ Iggy Pop), Frost, Wilson Mower Pursuit, and Caste.
There is NO poster for the event just this amazingly colorful postcard, designed by a trio of Detroit rock artists, Carl Lundgren, Jerry Younkins and Donnie Dope, featuring Airplane lead singer Grace Slick.
Print numbers for all 60's Grande Ballroom shows, for posters (where they exist), postcards and handbills were much smaller than their counterparts from the San Francisco scene.
Condition is gorgeous near mint with blazing colors. The post card is on thin stock so this condition is a bonus.

A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.
The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion.
Galaxy Auctions Canada assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted.
Products are sold "as is, where is" and there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature.
Catalogue is prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalogue or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error.

The winning bidder is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full.
In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within 72 hours (unless email arrangements are made), the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser.
All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the winner bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer.
The winning bidder hereby indemnifies the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots.
Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be deemed as abandoned. The auctioneer shall have the right to resell or dispose of such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser.
If for any reason, Galaxy Auctions Canada is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Galaxy Auctions Canada shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder to remove their items within the prescribed time.
Galaxy Auctions Canada is not responsible for shipping Carrier's lost or damaged items.
If shipping is not arranged within 72 hours the buyer agrees the auctioneer may auto ship all items at the buyers expense.
