(Metin, 2019) A canvas print of "Diversity 5" by artist Metin Bereketli. The colorful work featuring a variety of cultural and religious symbols was popularized after it was featured in the Central Perk set piece on NBC's Friends. It appeared in at least 3 episodes: "The One After Joey and Rachel Kiss" (09/25/03), "The One Where Ross Is Fine" (10/02/03), and "The One With Ross's Tan" (10/09/03). Metin is a self-taught painter, born in Turkey, who moved to Virginia and then Los Angeles. He cites diversity as a special focus to his work: "My fervent wish is to bring together all peoples from all kinds of religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. That's my definition of Heaven On Earth, and you can see my dedication in over a dozen original works I have created in the past." Bereketli's works have displayed in the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of Art Library, House of Blues, and the Peterson Automotive Museum. Other television shows that his works appeared in include How I Met Your Mother, Frasier, Gilmore Girls, Lucifer, General Hospital, and more. The piece, hand-dated "01-09-2019", has an image size of 24"x29.5" on its 30.25"x36" canvas linen.
