E.A. Prescott brass frame, .31 caliber percussion revolver with a 4 ¼” octagon barrel. The pistol is one of only 109 estimated to have been produced circa 1860-1861, refer Flayderman’s 7A-082 wherethe pistol is described as “very rare” and seldom seen. The pistol is in NRA fair condition with only patina finish showing light to moderate pitting and erosion. The action is not working, the grips are wornwith marks from tack hammering horseshoe nails at bottom. The pistol shows good, untouched patina in “As Found” condition with no cleaning and only a replacement grip screw added. Est.: $350-$700 (Antique).
