This is a fantastic book! It provides pastiche examples of many jazz and blues forms with an analysis of each piece. In terms of difficulty, it ranges from ABRSM grade 1 through 6 and provides an excellent starting point for improvisation. It's also great for sight reading practice for the higher grades, owing to the mixture of straight and swung rhythms.
