SN: 36559S5 ‘Long Tang’ Vintage exhibition embellished over/under double barrel boxlock shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells, manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale circa 1965. Engraved, gold inlayed and signed by master engraver Louis Vrancken. The full coverage engraving on the receiver features vine type scroll surrounding gold bordered vignettes with three gold pheasants on the left, three gold mallards on right and gold grouse on the bottom. Configuration: blued finish, 30" full/full chokes barrels with ventilated sighting rib & light coverage Acanthus scroll engraving towards the breech, selective automatic ejectors, white bead front sight, gold single selective trigger, knurled top lever, sliding tang safety/barrel selector, finely checkered extra fancy walnut beavertail forend with high gloss finish and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with factory recoil pad. Stock dimensions: drop at comb 1 3/8", drop at heel 1 9/16” and length of pull 14 3/8". Shotgun retains approximately 98% of its original blued finish showing light scattered handling marks/scratches and some slide wear on the bottom barrel from the forend & on the upper tang from the selector. Action is tight, the bores are excellent and the high gloss finished wood stocks are very good+ showing superficial scratches & small blemishes. Condition is near NRA Excellent. ***C&R Firearm***
